Mikesh retrieves users and their attributes from on-premises Microsoft Active Directory over LDAP and from cloud-based Microsoft Entra ID over Microsoft Graph – both through the same simple API.

There is no need to spend months learning Microsoft Graph, LDAP, and pagination: your app asks for the users, and Mikesh does the rest in a single request.

Your user data flows into your app automatically, and you keep the same integration even when your organization moves from Active Directory to the cloud.

Group Filtering and Attribute Mapping

Filter users by group membership, map directory attributes to the fields of your app, and transfer only the records that have changed since the last run.

Only the users and fields you actually need are retrieved, so requests stay small and fast even in large organizations.

You decide exactly who gets into your app and what data it holds, and you can keep it up to date as often as you need without overloading your server.

Mikesh is a native service exposing an HTTP/HTTPS API. It comes with a ready-to-use FileMaker example and an interactive API documentation, and works with any other database or app, like MySQL or PostgreSQL.

No FileMaker plug-ins are required, and a single instance installed on a separate machine can serve all your directories and database servers.

Your first import takes minutes, and you have one integration for everything instead of a separate one for every system.

How it Works

Mikesh runs as a background service that exposes a simple HTTP/HTTPS API. Your app calls the API to register the product, check status, and retrieve users from Active Directory or Entra ID – no FileMaker plug-in needs to be installed.

The service is configured through a config.toml file and keeps rotating logs with a configurable level and maximum size.
