The customer required the ability to precisely track warehouse activities, including who borrowed what, how much material was consumed, and how much was returned. This was specifically needed for the recording of loans and consumption of materials such as tools, fertilizers, and fuel.
We integrated a warehouse module into the customer’s application, along with our recommendation to use RFID tags. The module ensures the tracking of inventory, loans, and material consumption. It also includes approval workflows for loans and orders by managers, as well as restocking new items and printing RFID tags for easy identification.
The application integrates processes for receiving and dispatching goods, ordering from external suppliers, and managing administrative documents, such as accounting and purchase approvals. Approval workflows were set up so that managers are notified of new purchase requests and can easily approve them.
To improve efficiency, we integrated RFID readers that automatically send data about goods movement directly into FileMaker, where documents are generated based on whether it involves dispatching or receiving goods. The solution also includes a mobile application with the ability to scan QR codes from documents, displaying them in the mobile app, where material issuance or returns can then be confirmed.
